What we're looking for:

  • COMPLETED works in the following formats:

    • One shot comics (20-34 pages)

    • Short graphic novels and anthologies (34-76 pages)

    • 4 issue mini series (20-34 pages each)

    • PLEASE NOTE: When we say completed, we mean that the book is drawn, colored, lettered, and ready to print.

    • We are not picky about genre or subject matter with two exceptions that we discuss below. We welcome all kinds of comics from sci-fi, to romance, to superhero stories.

    • For the anthologies, we accept any anthology that follows the rules listed below. We will only have one point of contact with the creative team and we expect that all financial decisions between the people who submitted will be handled internally.

  • All work must be creator owned by the people submitting their stories.

  • All creators involved must be over the age of 18.

  • All submissions must be in English.

What we're NOT looking for:

  • Works that are based on existing Intellectual Property and are not creator owned. Characters in the public domain are welcome.

  • A.I generated writing and/or artwork.

  • Any story that EXCLUSIVELY portrays an excessive or explicit sexual act.

    • PLEASE NOTE: Discussions of sex and sexuality are permitted and welcome, and we will look at stories that incorporate sex scenes into the plot. However, if the SOLE PURPOSE of your story is to portray a graphic sexual act, we will reject it.

    • We reserve the right to request small aesthetic changes to writing and art if we believe they are necessary, although we intend to be as hands off as possible.

  • Any story whose SOLE PURPOSE is to promote and/or glorify the following: racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, or any form of bigotry.

    • PLEASE NOTE: We understand that sometimes a story calls for an antagonist who is a complete bastard, or that a character can hold some uncomfortable viewpoints, but if we believe that the creative team is using their story to portray any of the above as a good thing, we will reject the story.

What we can offer:

  • If accepted, you will be offered a contract that grants us the exclusive right to print and publish your book for two (2) years.

  • For the first year, we will run a Kickstarter campaign for your book.

    • You will be asked to provide the following: artwork for a variant cover for the Kickstarter, 1 patch, 2 trading cards, and 3 stickers.

    • We will handle fulfillment and deduct the cost of printing and shipping from your campaign. The rest of the money is yours.

  • For the second year, we will sell your book on our webstore and take it to conventions.

    • We will only take what we need to maintain business operations.

  • In exchange for all of this, we ask that you allow us to advertise our comics and other publishing initiatives in the back of your book.

  • Once the two years is over, we will continue to support and hype up your work as best we can.

Check out the video below to see how your submission packet should include and how it should be formatted.

PLEASE NOTE: in the video we say that we're looking for 6 issue mini series. This was a mistake, we're only going up to 4 issues.
